Aadhaar Card is a boost to Digital India. Recently, the Aadhaar card has been made a mandatory official document for all the Government purposes, starting from the ITR filing to purchasing a new phone. Linking your bank accounts with the Aadhaar card will provide you multiple benefits. Some of the benefits include- getting the LPG subsidy, in different welfare and pension schemes, availing scholarships, issuing a Voter ID, Provident Fund, Digilocker etc.
So, get your Bank account linked with the Aadhaar to get these benefits. You can link your bank account either online or offline. The procedure of linking the bank account is way too simple. Once you are done with the linking issue, you need to check whether it is successfully done or not.
Therefore, to check whether your Bank Account is Linked with the Aadhaar Card you need to go either one of the three cases. There are three ways to check the Aadhaar linking status to bank-
- Visit the nearest bank branch
- Simply dial *99 * 99# from your mobile.
- Visit the official website of UIDAI.
1. Check Aadhaar Card Bank Status to Bank Offline-
To check the Aadhaar Card Status online you can visit the nearby Bank Branch office. All you need to carry is your valid ID proof and the passbook and get it confirmed at the inquiry counter that whether your Aadhaar is linked or not. The bank official may ask you for your account number or passbook. So give them the correct details.
2. Check Aadhaar Card Bank Linking by dialing *99 * 99 *#-
- If you don’t have time to visit the bank branch then no need to worry because you can still get to know whether your Aadhaar card is linked with the Bank or not. All you have to do is simply dial *99 *99 *# from your registered mobile number. Then enter your 12- digit Aadhaar number and choose the option of linking Aadhaar with the bank account and send.
- Confirm it if it is correct otherwise press 2 to make a change. If you are done with the above process then you will receive a confirmation message that your Aadhaar is successfully linked.
3. Check Aadhaar Card Bank Linking Status To Bank Online-
You can check your Aadhaar Card Linking Status to Bank online you need to visit the official site of UIDAI and perform the following steps-
- Firstly visit the following link mentioned- https://resident.uidai.net..in/check-aadhaar-linking-status.
- Fill in your 12 digit Aadhaar card number.
- Enter the security code provided in the next column.
- Then click on “Verify” button.
